Garofalo Records Two Dominating Wins at VIR on Sunday

Alton, Virginia — Checking out on the rest of the field, Michael Garofalo and his Suzuki 600 placed first in the C Superstock Expert and C Superbike Expert sprints held Sunday during WERA’s weekend ay VIR. In each race he finished ahead of Ben Walters Jr. on a Yamaha 600 who had an extremely productive weekend on both Saturday and Sunday.
Another impressive performance on Sunday was handed in by Danville’s Brian Kcraget who was nursing an extremely swollen ankle sustained from a crash during a warm up lap on Saturday morning. Kcraget won the 125GP and Formula 2 Expert. He reportedly was going to have the ankle X-rayed on Sunday evening.
Russell Masecar won the Heavyweight Twins Superbike Expert race, while Scott Carpenter won the Formula 1 Expert event. Todd Johnson won the C Superbike Novice event and Doug Hoge placed first in the B Superbike Novice race.
